Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ll take a few minutes and explore my website to learn more about me as well as my books.

Writing has delighted me since I was a child. My favorite assignments in school centered on creative writing – poems, short stories, personal essays, etc. Reading my final product always provided me with a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment and it still does to this day.

I find the writing process itself to be soothing as well as stimulating. The repetition of writing, revising, rewriting, revising again and again, comforts me. I relish the idea of choosing just the right word or phrase to evoke a particular emotion or thought.

Since I’m blessed to split my time between the two beautiful states of Wisconsin and Arizona, I’m often able to sit outside and enjoy nature as I write. What could be more inspirational than to watch loons gracefully glide across a Wisconsin lake or behold the fiery oranges and brilliant pinks of an Arizona sunset?

“Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.”

~ Laura Ingalls Wilder
